Audionet is exactly what one understands by 'Made in Germany'. Classic, flourishless design, excellent finish, extremely stable circuit dimensioning. Even the encapsulated 700 VA transformer and the both noble 22000 uF electrolyte capacitors from Elna promise heavenly power supply. The power stage uses two almost indestructible field effect transistors for each channel. Uncompromising is also the input switch section with high-value relays directly located at the input jacks and the volume regulation via foursome ALPS motor potentiometer. Regarding finish and value equivalent the Audionet without a doubt gets top ratings in this test field: No inconsistency, everything fits. Pure solidity.
The measurements of the smallest amplifier from Bochum were - as usual - sensational. An almost exact power doubling between 4 ohms and 8 ohms load and no considerable difference between impulse power output and constant load speak well for the extremely solid power supply. Distortions and noise are almost completely absent....
And the sound? Cream! SAM dashes around all tonal corners like lightning but nevertheless soft. He reproduces music with wit and charm....
Deep, precise bass, silvery detailed highs, generous three-dimensionality, precise focus, SAM has everything. Music reproduction, tickling like champagne!
